Monica's Taco Shop

I didn't love the taco salad and was sad I deviated from my usual. It wasn't bad, but just a little bland and the shell was too greasy. Friendliest service I've had in a long time!

I love Monica's, they are always friendly at the window! Morning that their chicken nachos and fries are the best I feel in town. Thank you Monica's for helping stay healthy at least 2x a week!!!

Monica's Taco Shop is a great place to get really yummy Mexican food. The gentleman that took my order was very nice and happy to oblige my special enchilada order for breakfast. It was delicious! I usually stop in for the awesome and huge breakfast burritos but I had extra time today to sit down inside and eat. The sit down area was nice and clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a quick bite to eat.

I'm visiting from out of town and I've literally ate here 6x in the past few days, including 3x today and this place is freaking legit. Amazing carne asada burrito and the chorizo and eggs breakfast tacos are incredible.

OK guys! Been going to this place for years it never disappoints. I’m disappointed in myself for not doing a review sooner the place is immaculate. The service is wonderful but best of all the food is never bad. It is always amazing! Fresh ingredients, clean employees, and the restaurant itself is spotless! I would rather order through drive-through or pick up and go sit down at a Mexican restaurant. trust me! This is the place to go for Mexican food in Colorado Springs. The one on Powers and Palmer Park is the best thanks guys for always taking such great care of us.

BEST GRILLED CHICKEN TACOS! Do not be fooled by the other Mexican places around town and definitely not to be confused with any other “MONICA’S taco shop” - I know because I’ve tried to find tacos as good as these but none live up. I only tried other places as this place is a bit further from my home. I don’t even care anymore because they are well worth the drive and no one else compares. 2 tacos is plenty as they are loaded with grilled chicken, guacamole and pico in a regular size yellow corn tortilla. I add shedded lettuce to them them. You get a lime or 2 in the box with them and very occasionally a roasted jalapeno. 1 taco is really probably enough but they’re so yummy you’ll want more even if you’re full! I don’t normally add lime to my food but with these tacos I do, along with a tad of their red salsa. They’re just under 3 each and again well worth it. I’ve also had their grilled chicken nachos and those are fantastic! There customer service is good, and the quality of food is consistent! I usually go between 11am-1pm. The only thing not consistent is that roasted jalapeno they occasionally put in the box but I don’t really care about that. Go see for yourself at THIS specific location just how delicious these GRILLED CHICKEN TACOS are! Feliz Eating!

Monica’s is THE GO TO place for Mexican food. Their burritos are freakin incredible. Huge and well priced. All ingredients are super fresh. Both lunch/dinner or breakfast. I love the ham egg and cheese burrito or the California. I highly recommend!

I hadn't had a Monica's breakfast burrito in over 15 years since I moved away, but on this visit to Colorado Springs, I got one, and boy, it didn't disappoint!!!! It was the same as before. Talk about consistency! I don't know how I used to devour one of these burritos before, but half was more than enough this time. I also got their cream filled churro, which was also very delicious.
